In December 16, 1981, Linda May Craig, a new sales assistant that been working on the Tri-State mall in Pennsylvania was kidnapped in their own car as she left work. When she did not arrive at home, her spouse referred to as police. The next day, the victim’s body was discovered – raped, stabbed, and beaten – in the house of worship parking zone a mile and a half far away from her auto.

Seminal fluid samples and fingernail scrapings were obtained through the victim’s body by detectives. Police also collected gloves considered to happen to be left from the perpetrator in the victim’s car.

4 days later, cops pulled over Nick Yarris for the traffic infraction. The normal routine stop escalated in a violent confrontation involving Yarris along with the patrolman and led to Yarris’s arrest for attempted murder of the police officer.
